City names come from the mapped address
After your coordinates are available, the lookup checks the locality fields supplied by the map database. Depending on the country, the most useful field may be a city, town, municipality or village.
Near a city boundary?
Administrative boundaries and postal addresses do not always line up with what people call a city. If you are near an edge, compare the returned locality with the map instead of relying on the label alone.
